B.B.U. Kitchen Bowie: Dive into Authentic Soul Food and Seafood Delights

I went to B.B.U. Kitchen today the food was great. We got the Catfish Nugget dinner with two sides Mac and cheese and greens we also got the Shrimp Po’Boy sandwich with fries and fried chicken bites. Our drinks we got the half and half and fruit punch. Everything was on point. I will definitely come here again.

I got the salmon bites, collard greens, and fries! Everything was well-seasoned, moist, and flavorful! Very fresh and delicious! Everyone that came here with me enjoyed their food, too. I've always wanted to try fried salmon, and I'm glad my first experience trying it was great and enjoyable Great portion sizes

Food was so good. I went 2 days in a row. Yesterday I had the Shrimp Po’Boy it was delicious. Today I got the Chicken and Shrimp platter. The Young Lady that took my order was very kind and pleasant and she also took my phone order today and she remembered me and greeted me with the same kindness. I’ll definitely be back to try something different.

Heard about this spot on TikTok yesterday and my wife and I happen to be in the area today so we stopped by… So glad we did. We had a 10 out of 10 experience. The young lady on the register gave us great customer service. She was friendly and welcoming, and super helpful. The owner was in the building. He was greeting customers coming out to the front checking on us great hospitality. But the food… They were busy and we still got our food with within 15 minutes. Everything was hot and fresh, but even more than that it was all delicious. We live about 40 minutes away and we plan to be back regularly. BBU is hands down one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had in a long time! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is welcoming, clean, and full of great energy. The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely cares about making sure you have an amazing experience. The food? Absolutely outstanding. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. You can really taste the quality in every bite. The portions were generous, and everything came out hot and beautifully presented. If you’re looking for great food, excellent service, and a vibe that makes you want to come back again and again, BBU in Bowie is the spot. Highly recommend!

Their Grilled Jerk Salmon Sub ($16.99 with grilled salmon, jerk sauce, peppers, onions, tomatoes, & lettuce on a bed of fries). I got this because a customer came in, & was adamant about ordering this!! Thick, meaty, & mildly spicy!! STAMP!! Their 3 Wings Entree ($14.99 with 3 whole wings drizzled with their signature Boss Sauce, mac n cheese, & greens). I’m siced that I got crispy, whole wings with a tangy sweet BOSS Sauce, with LIKE THAT well seasoned greens, & DELICIOUS mac!! STAMP!! Their Jumbo Shrimp Entree ($14.99 fried shrimp, with sweet potatoes, & cabbage). Plenty of shrimp, fried to perfection, LIKE THAT sweet-sweet potatoes, & the cabbage was DELICIOUS!! STAMP!! This is some good southern cooking right here. Everything was amazing. The honey cornbread tastes like a dessert, like cinnamon cake. The greens were cooked to perfection. The grilled catfish was amazing. The hush puppies were so flavorful. And of course the DMV favorite fried chicken wings with the Mumbo sauce. Amazing. You can get your food yo go or grab a table. Stop by to enjoy this good old southern yumminess!

Look y’all BBU Kitchen in Bowie, Maryland in the same parking lot with Texas roadhouse look y’all the food is great. The server was beautiful. Took your time. Excellent service. I was all over the place took it nice and slow and chilled and just helped me when I got here my food was ready then I want to change up because she gave me a sample and she gave me she gave.
